Except that it's terribly hot?
But summer is here
And the sun's going to sear,
Whether we like it or not.

What else can we say about August?
You just have to smile and stay cool
Be happy and pleasant,
As you can, for the present,
And dream of your spot by the pool.

What can we say about August?
Except that folks termpers they fray
So be pleasant and nice
Put your feelings on ice,
And wait 'till the hot goes away.
